I purchased a dress from Sherry at Red Dress for a very important event. I have never ordered clothing from a company I was unfamiliar with on the Internet. I had the dress shipped to my friend, as I was attending her wedding. She brought it in with the bridesmaid dresses from out of town to be steamed at the dress shop where she got her dress. This was done prior to my arrival and she did it because she read the instructions pertaining to the care of the dress. The dress was ruined because it seems it was ironed not steamed. I returned the dress not knowing that the damage had been done after it had been shipped to me. Sherry, even though she carefully, clearly states the return and exchange policy and the care for the dresses policy on her website and on the information shipped with the dresses, replaced the dress free of charge to me.
I have been so impressed with her dresses, showing the website to many people. I was worried about ordering online for a first time for this wedding but then I went to a beautiful dress shop and told the owner I was looking for a "romantic dress," and she immediately showed me catalogues and a print out of the Red Dress website. She is in Petaluma CA, I can' t remember the shop's name, it is the owner's name as well. Anyway, she said she has ordered from The Red Dress for years and trusts this company completely. I would have to say, after this experience, I would firmly agree.
When originally ordering the dress Sherry sent it in three days. She went above and beyond the call of duty, shipping the dress and replacing it. Customer service seems to be a thing of the past in our modern world, but just as reminiscent as the beautiful dresses are of a time gone by, the business practice of The Red Dress is as well, and their customer service ethic is EXCEPTIONAL.
