This review was revised on 9/8 to summarize the entire experience I had with this company.
Buyer Beware!! This company gives a 10% discount if the order is paid via check. This may be a good deal if you actually get your merchandise, but it is a NIGHTMARE otherwise. I paid in advance (by check) to reserve an in-stock vanity for delivery later. When I called to arrange delivery, they no longer had the item. I waited for it to come overseas, then I waited for it to be shipped. When I didn’t receive it, I waited for them to put a tracer on it. When that revealed nothing, I requested another vanity be shipped, then waited in vain for it to arrive so I finally requested a refund. There are a lot more details but I'll save you the minutia since I have no way of knowing whether any of it was true or simply a fabrication to prolong the company's possession of my payment. All I know for sure is that they were not able to deliver the product I ordered. By the time I got the refund check in the mail, it had been over 5 months since I initially placed the order!
Here’s what you need to know: (1) You will almost never get a callback, even if someone promises to call you. (2) Don’t bother leaving messages (see #1), (3) Barry Altman (the CEO and only person I ever spoke to the entire time) takes no ownership in his company. It took him months to realize why my order was not getting shipped instead of following through when I first told him there was a problem (4) Barry will screen your calls if he doesn’t want to talk to you. I had to resort to calling from other people’s cell phones on multiple occasions in order to trick him into answering.
I could go on, but after reading this, do you really want to take a chance with this company? If your answer is yes, take my advice and pay by credit card so you can just have the charges reversed if something goes wrong!
